‘피코 PCO’는 여섯 명의 미술가가 공동 설립한 비영리 전시 공간이다. 작가 주도적인 공간 운영이 그 자체로 하나의 미적 실험이 될 수 있으리라는 기대로 뜻을 모았다. 비전을 공유하는 콜렉티브라기보다는 동상이몽의 유사 협력체(Pseudo-Consortium)로서, 상이한 조형적 관점 사이의 갈등을 기획의 원동력으로 삼아 정제되지 않은 가능성들을 매개하는 연결망을 그려보고자 한다. PCO (/piːkoʊ/, Pseudo-Consortium Operation) is a project space founded by six artists, based on an assumption that artist-driven space operation could itself become an experimental artistic practice. Rather than operating as an artist collective with a collective vision, it functions as a pseudo-consortium where artists with different visions co-operate.
